Anonymous said, "Fantastic--c'mon! Ever since M&M Grill went out, we've been craving Mediterranean food. Only other place to get anything like it is Spice Bowl (also fantastic). Shiraz is DA BOMB! Lamb is fantastic but my favorite is the Shiraz Shish Kebab (beef) and Salad Shirazi. "

Local Family said, "Shiraz Shish Kabob is an unsung hero among B/CS restaurants. We ate the lamb kebab, beef kebab and falafel. What was outstanding was how fresh and, consequently, delicious the food tasted. We tried the yogurt drink, and while we didn't care for the taste, we all agreed that we could probably acquire a taste for it. The atmosphere was casual, and we loved the sound of the fountain in the middle of the restaurant. The service was really friendly. We can't wait to go back!"

Anonymous said, "This place is absolutely fantastic! All the food (and tea!) is really good, and reasonably priced. And the staff/owners are incredibly nice! If you haven't checked it out, you are missing out. Try the lamb!"

Rachel said, "Very happy with my visit! This is Mediterranean style food (wouldn't call it Asian). Flavorful, fresh food. Clean & well-lit, if lacking in real atmosphere. A fountain in the middle, but would have been nice to hear some soft music in background. The owner(?) was so friendly. She came around and briefly described every entree ,which all the kabobs and "salads" were on display in the cooler case. The baklava was so sweet, but served w/ a hot tea - delicious! (Portions small compared to American.)"

Anonymous said, "I'm a very big fan of this place -- actually find that the cheaper items are some of their best! I just love their bread made on the premises! And some of their desserts include a free drink. I'll keep coming back. My only gripe is that their credit card machine doesn't allow for a signature, so I never remember to bring cash to include a tip."

It is a recent addition to their menu...and the friendly woman behind the counter (I believe she is the owner)told me that they are going to expand their menu even more within the next few months. I am so excited to see what other wonderful items they will add to their menu!"

Anonymous said, "After spending the summer in Morocco, I was desperate for something resembling Mediterranean Middle-Eastern/Arab food, and Shiraz doesn't disappoint. The meat is unlike any you can get in College Station, and for around 6-8 bucks, you can get a ton of food: huge piece of delicious pita bread, tasty meat, plenty of rice, and for a little extra try their good-but-not-great hummus. Honestly, it doesn't compare to the coastal Maghreb, but for College Station, TX you'll be blown away!"

Anonymous said, "AWESOME!I had lamb kabob, my bf had the lamb shank. The white rice is not normal white rice.It was fabulous. The taziki was tasty. The owners were in there the whole time, sooo friendly. Pretty cheap for the BIG portions. Will be back over & over!!"
