Anonymous said, "First visit to Abuelo's. The setting is beatiful, surrounded by Diego Rivera's murals and paintings. Excellent service. The food: very good. It cannot be described as Tex-Mex. Instead, it is Noveau-Mexican based on authentic flavours and ingredients"

BryanPooch said, "Six months ago Abuelo's still had some problems resulting from its opening. But it has rounded into shape nicely now. The Tex-Mex items might disappoint some with their subtlety. Go for fish dishes and the bacon-wrapped beef tenderloin. Outstanding!"
